SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Spring is here! I couldn't be more excited to be sitting in my store today and being able to leave the front door open! The store window is looking great with the Pink Tulips I bought at the Union Square Farmers Market on my walk down to the store this morning. Its so easy to make your home feel spring-like with fresh flowers. I keep fresh flowers in my home all year round, but spring brings the best flower choices: tulips, hyacinth, daffodils.

Last night, while having dinner with a good friend  at Mr. Chows in Tribeca--which is one of my favorite restaurants, (I just love crisp and clean, yet sexy interiors), I was reminded of my favorite spring flower as we sat at the bar having a drink: Cherry Blossoms!

Mr. Chows Tribeca
Nothing says spring more than big bunches of cherry blossom branches; love them! Cherry blossoms will be blooming from now through the first week in April. The peak bloom days for the cherry blossoms will be April 1 - 4, 2009 this year...so get them while you can!
